Cracchiolo DK Ranch
A hub for student experiential learning and community engagement in the Verde Valley.
Focused on community-relevant research and educational opportunities.
Cracchiolo DK Ranch is a living laboratory to support our local students, food systems, and community.
About
The ranch, which occupies just over 45 acres along the west bank of Oak Creek, was donated to the University in 2017 by the family foundation of Phoenix attorney Daniel Cracchiolo.
Cracchiolo DK Ranch provides experiential learning opportunities for Verde Valley's K-12 and Yavapai Community College students, as well as 25-acres split across 7 irrigated, certified organic pastures for small ruminant production or micro green, vegetable gardens.
The ranch includes a horse barn with paddocks, a small animal barn with turnouts, and two meeting rooms for presentations or classes.
